Players Accused of Doping in Commonwealth Games Camp

According to media reports 9 Players from 7 events have been reported for doping in the Commonwealth Camps organized at various locations in India. According to media reports Javelin Thrower Ibrar Mohammed , Boxer Manjit Singh (Patiala Camp), 100m Sprinter Ranitam, 110m Hurdles (Koyambator Camp), Body Builder Anoop S (Hyderabad Camp), Weight lifter Ashish Surve, Wrestler Vinod, Taekewando player Pinkumani and Rugby player Dalviner Singh are accused of doping.
The Anti Doping Disciplinary Panel will give its judgment on the fate of these players in next few days. According to Rahul Bhatnagar, Director General of National Anti Doping Agency stringent measures are being taken by NADA to make this Commonwealth Games a healthy sporting event and continuous tests are conducted to find out the culprits.
