Indian Railway for the comfort of passengers has made the ticket booking more easier. Now Internet Ticket booking is available from 00:30 Hrs to 23:30 Hrs at official website of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Limited : www.irctc.co.in
Indian Railway has also launched its Online booking of meals pilot project 'Book a Meal'. It has been launched in trains 2628 Karnataka Express and 2780 Goa Express. So those who are travelling through these train can book their meals at the time of their ticket booking and feel tension free while they are in the train, because their meals will be served at the right time.
Indian Railway has also provide “Tatkal” ticket booking facility on payment of premium charges on ‘first come first served’ basis. It is beneficial for those passengers who have to plan their journey at the last moment and cannot secure reserved accommodation.
