Rakhi Ka Insaaf - NDTV Imagine

Rakhi Sawant is known as drama queen and she knows how to be in public eye by giving baseless statements and mocking in the public. The first show that became popular on NDTV Imagine was “Rakhi ka Swayamvar”. That show was able to attract viewers from all spheres of life, as it was for the first time in modern India that someone was going to select her life partner in front of the television viewers. At last, somehow the show ended with engagement with Elesh, one of the participants of this show. As a couple Rakhi and Elesh again participated in another Reality show of NDTV Imagine “Pati , Patni aur Woh” . Once again the show was a great hit. However, by the end of the show it was obvious that Elesh and Rakhi were no longer a couple. NDTV Imagine came with few other reality shows like “Deshi Girls” but it was not able to attract viewers as “Pati, Patni aur Woh” did. So again NDTV Imagine is ready to cash on Rakhi Sawant with its new Reality Show “ Rakhi Ka Insaaf”. In this show Rakhi will listen the real life problem of public who are invited in the show and will give her advice and suggestions for solving those problems. NDTV Imagine creative team believes that Rakhi is a bold and brave girl who have struggled in her life and reached to this level. Rakhi herself has boasted about the stories of her struggle, although most of her claims are nothing but exaggeration and she is better known for her skills in creating controversies and media sensations.

Television viewers follow reality shows but no one can guess if they watch the programmes out of hatred or love. The way NDTV Imagine is promoting Rakhi Sawant its nothing but baffling. Rakhi Sawant has hunger of media attention and easy money while NDTV Imagine wants high TRP, so both are complementing each other for their selfish needs. Don’t forget that same type of programme has been successfully hosted by Kiran Bedi on Star Tv. This shameless prototype presentation falls in the category of creative plagiarism
